David Hutchinson
David Hutchinson trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and at the RSAMD. David trained in writing at the Everyman Theatre, Liverpool.

David has considerable experience as a teacher in Acting and Performance. In 2006 he taught children in Costa Rica in English and Acting, achieving a TEFL qualification after his three month placement. David then went on to become Program Leader at One Heartland in California, USA. Here he directed and led acting and performance classes to children with or affected by HIV aids. Following his return to the UK in 2007, David began teaching at the Jacqueline Chadwick Academy in St Helens and Wigan and taught part time at Stagecoach in Ormskirk and Liverpool. He went on to teach at LIPA 4:19 Academy on a Saturday and Sunday morning until 2010 when he founded his very own theatre school in Open Doors Theatrical Academy.
David is co-founding members of Sell a Door Theatre Company, and the Managing Director of Open Doors Theatrical Academy.
Phillip Rowntree
Phillip trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
Phillip's acting credits include; Romeo in
Romeo and Juliet, Ezra Chater in
Arcadia, Snug in
A Midsummer Night's Dream, Austin Bennet in
I Love You Because and Marvin in
Falsettoland.
For Sell a Door he has directed
Treats, his own pantomime
Cinderella and
The Sugar Syndrome. Phillip regularly manages and produces Sell a Door productions.

Robert Gilbert
Robert co-found Sell A Door in 2008 and has been writing, directing and acting for the company since.
His contributions to the group include two original works (
So Much To Say For Myself and
By Order of Ignorance) a production of
The Ugly One and the lead role in David Hutchinson's
Planning Permission.
Robert plays the role of literary manager in the company helping David to plan the material they will use and the structure of their annual calendar.
Richard Fitch
Richard Fitch is currently completing his BA Acting Degree at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
Having established himself by Directing and Assitant Directing numerous full-scale productions at LIPA, including Martin McDonagh's
The Pillowman and Tony Kuschner's
Angel's in America, Richard will also appear as the male lead, Oscar, in
Sweet Charity early 2010.
Richard directs and consults on Sell A Door productions frequently and is one of five Directors behind the company.
Ally Thornton
Ally trained at the Liverpool institute for Performing Arts and is a co-founder of Sell A Door Theatre Co Ltd.
Her theatre credits whilst training include Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Therese in The Guid sisters, Mrs Milcote in Coram Boy and the title role in Daisy Pulls It Off. Her theatre credits for Sell A Door include The Secrets Inside and Harold Pinter’s One for the Road.
Ally will also be featuring in Sell A Doors upcoming Edinburgh 2010 season and is the Sell A Door Participations Director.
