Lighting Designer

Prema trained at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. She has since designed the lighting for drama, dance, opera productions and installations for fifteen years across the UK.

Recent theatre credits include: A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Leicester Curve); East is East (Northern Stage/Nottingham Playhouse); Of Kith and Kin (Sheffield Crucible); A Passage to India (Royal and Derngate/UK Tour); Holes (Nottingham Playhouse); Mighty Atoms (Hull Truck); Wipers (Leicester Curve/UK Tour); With A Little Bit of Luck (Latitude Festival); Murder, Margaret and Me, The York Suffragettes (York Theatre Royal); Spring Awakening (National Youth Music Theatre); Jefferson’s Garden (Watford Palace Theatre); The Great Extension (Theatre Royal Stratford East); Snow Queen (Derby Theatre).

Dance credits include: Bells (Showtime Festival, Mayor of London 2012) Sufi Zen (Royal Festival Hall); Dhamaka (O2 Arena); Maaya (Westminster Hall).

Other credits include: Designing for Madame Tussauds, London.
