Alex Marshall Alex trained at the Guildford School of Acting. Prior to training, Alex performed in The Merry Wives of Windsor directed by Terry Hands and The Wind in the Willows, directed by Nicholas Hytner; Camelot (Covent Garden festival); Fedora (Royal Opera House); The Demon Headmaster (Pleasance Theatre) and on-screen as Tony in West Side Story (Channel 4).Since graduating, he has played Dromio of Ephesus in The Comedy of Errors (Theatre Set Uo); You Won’t Succeed on Broadway If You Don’t Have Any Jews (Garrick, Israel and St James’ Theatre); the title role in Aladdin (Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds and Upstage Productions); Eddie in Camp Horror (Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch); Joe B Maudlin in Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story (Channel Islands tour); Gareth in Speed Dating – the Musical (Jermyn Street Theatre); Chess in Concert (Royal Albert Hall); Another Kind of Magic (West End International); Jack Daw/Male Swing in Buddy (UK number-one tour); Bert in Mary Poppins and Tommy DeVito in Jersey Boys (David Graham Ltd); Malcolm Sweet in Uncle Eric’s Winter Wonderland (New Vic, Stoke); Big Girls Don’t Cry (UK Tour) and originated the role of William Penn in the workshop of The Perfect City.Alex’s screen credits include: Chris in the feature Walking With Shadows (Ghost Pictures); Shapeshifters pop video – ‘Lola’s Theme’ (The Mob) and a DFS Commercial.Alex has performed in cabaret at Lauderdale House, Battersea Barge and the Arcola Theatre.
