Footloose: The Musical

Maureen Nolan

Maureen has been singing with her sisters since she was nine years old. Together, they became one of Europe’s first girl bands – the Nolans.

The Nolans’ success is legendary; including phenomenal record sales worldwide, particularly in Japan, where they sold more records than the Beatles! They have worked with some of the world’s most respected artists including Frank Sinatra. The Nolans put an entire generation ‘In the Mood for Dancing’, and they recently reunited for a sell-out I’m in the Mood Again tour.

Maureen is also an accomplished actress and has played Mrs Johnstone in Blood Brothers in the West End and on tour to critical acclaim. She was fourth Nolan sister to play the role, earning them entry into the Guinness Book of World Records. Maureen has toured the UK, playing Sadia in the comedy musical Girls Behind, Jill in Mum’s the Word, Vi in Footloose, Sarah in The Naked Truth, and she has also played leading roles in many pantomimes.
