Johnathan Tweedie Johnathan has worked as a performer, creative and educator in all areas of theatre as well as film and television. As a world championship competitive Irish dancer, Johnathan has performed in over 50 countries to over 10 million people in some of the world's top Irish dance shows including Gaelforce Dance, Riverdance, Irish Dance Masters, Rhythm of the Dance, Ragus, Spirit of Ireland and Dance of Desire as principal dancer, Dance Captain and Choreographer. After 10 years of dancing, Johnathan returned to musical theatre and received his MA in Musical Theatre with Honours from Guildford School of Acting.UK Theatre: Originated the role of Theodore Bennett in UK premiere of The Life (Southwark Playhouse), Cover Mr Salt, Grandpa George and Jerry in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Theatre Royal Drury Lane West End), Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar (UK & European Tour), Harry Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life (UK Tour), and Dance Captain/Cover in Evita (UK Tour).International: Oscar & Vittorio in Sweet Charity (English Theatre Frankfurt), Dance Captain, Resident Director and cover Rooster in Annie (Asian Tour), cover Samuel in On Eagle's Wing (European Tour) and guest dancer in Sonamar: Pasuedon (Spain). Johnathan was also one of the first British performers to be invited to work at the Summer Repertory Theatre in California, USA performing as Robbie Hart in The Wedding Singer, the Bellhop in Lend Me a Tenor, Uncle Jeff and Gregor in Mame.
